THE AA 'HOME FOR CHRISTMAS'

Director: Mad Ruffian

A pro-active piece of work where we won the agency an account that we didn't have to pitch for.

We had an idea for anti-text driving, but no client, and no budget to make it.

Enter Mad Ruffian, who liked the idea (and the cause) enough to get involved. The only real elements in the final film are the two actors, and the mobile phone - everything else was created by them in CG.

With the film complete, we presented it to The AA, who wanted to put their name to it, alongside the FIA.

What started as a social film in early December then snowballed into a huge PR win for both clients when lots of media outlets picked up on it, most notably America's most popular morning programme 'The Today Show'. A five minute segment on the cause was broadcast to millions of people, earning the clients a massive amount of exposure.

FRIENDS OF THE EARTH

A campaign encouraging activists to join the cause against climate change.

Another entry into the 2007 D&AD annual.

ANTI DRINK DRIVE CAMPAIGN

Photographer: Conor Masterson

One of the first campaigns we worked on, where media placement was as important as the idea.

PUBLIC HEALTH ENGLAND

Director: Ben Liam-Jones

An anti-smoking message for PHE.

THE ROY CASTLE LUNG CANCER FOUNDATION

Another anti-smoking message. The aim wasn't to save smokers, but to get them to consider those around them with the effects of second hand smoke.
